This review of training on prenatal alcohol exposure and FASD provides indicators of existing training for future health and social service professionals in various post-secondary educational institutions. Avenues for improvement are also proposed since professionals who are better trained and aware of FASD will be able to contribute more to its detection, prevention and optimal support for the people concerned.
